A PC Controlled Wobbulator

This project appeared in the September 2024 issue of Practical Wireless. A wobbulator, or Sweep Generator is a device useful for aligning the IF stages of older FM receivers.

The Raspberry Pi design looked to be a modern alternative, but I didn’t fancy and more keyboards and monitors on my workbench, so this PIC based design came into being, capable of being used with a PC with a serial port.

I can supply the firmware image and contact details of potential owners of spare bare PCBs. Back Issues are available online.
